I’m bored and perusing Copart. Because. Well, I don’t know.

^^That one is reassuring to me, since my wife’s 2013 CX-5 has that same motor.

Was the Kia Soul used for a courier or something? 100k/year is CRAZY.
Maybe towed behind a RV?

I almost want to save that Soul and get it to 1,000,000 miles...then it would be Soul-d. GET IT.??!!! Sold? Soul-d? I’ll see myself out.
Also, somebody save that Celica!!!

Doing some quick math... at 700k miles, an estimated 30mpg, and 2.75 a gallon. One will have spent 64k just on gas. I’m lazy but someone might be able to run the numbers on what a Prius or a current day Tesla would’ve costed.

That would be an insane amount of mileage even for a tow vehicle, because presumably the towing vehicle ran almost that far.

Take the Hellcat engine, and put it in the Celica.

SOMEBODY SAVE THAT CELICA DAMMIT
Also, not too surprised by the Soul. The early years with the 6-speed? Those things are damn dependable.

It’s got a bid on it, so it’ll be saved.

When you crash the Celica like the Hellcat, it won’t do anywhere near as good a job resembling a car...

A. Don’t crash it.
B. To handle that power, the chassis would need to be caged anyway.

I have a feeling that not crashing a 707HP first gen Celica might be much easier said than done, unless you are upgrading everything about the car.

That’s kind of a given.

Makes my high mileage Lancer look like amateur hour

Here’s another calculation - 270+ miles per day means you’re filling that tank every 1.7 days at 30 MPG. That’s a lot of fuel stops. If it takes 5 minutes to stop, get out, fill the tank, and get back in the car, that person spent 18 hours a year pumping gas. That’s basically an entire day of being awake spent pumping gas.

Primary Damage: ALL OVER.
Ya think?
